I’m something
very special!

The design objects and individual items from the Berlin label insBesondere are unique in many ways. That’s because a very special team of people work for insBesondere. They are creative, highly dedicated and passionate about what they do.

Bags, notebooks, wallets – all of the products have been developed by young designers who are students or recent graduates of HTW Berlin. insBesondere offers them a unique opportunity to put their ideas into practice. The manual work to create the exclusively designed products is carried out by creative talents and people with physical or mental disabilities, transforming unique ideas into reality. The products from insBesondere and the people behind them all have something important in common: they tell a very special story. When you buy something from insBesondere, you are helping to write a new chapter.

This backpack was
once a banner

on a fence advertising an event at HTW Berlin. Designer and HTW Berlin graduate Dennis Meier-Schindler thought it would be a shame to simply throw it away. He sketched a cutting pattern for a backpack that he liked. At the Stephanus-Werkstätten in Kyritz, Brandenburg, capable sewing hands transformed the material into 30 backpacks. more
